Disclosure: Pull & Pour received coffee samples for this post, however, as always, all opinions are 100% my own.
This coffee is in my top 10 for the year. It was part of the Reserve series from Corvus Coffee in April 2022 and blew my mind with its juicy, fruit-forward profile.
The coffee began with a complex fragrance of sweet berries with floral undertones. The flavor was phenomenal with an explosion of flavors that reminded me of juicy kiwis, rich berries, and tropical fruit. The body was structured, but light and smooth. The coffee had a high acidity that was crisp and helped balance the candy-like, fruit-forward sweetness. Each sip ended with a lingering sweet finish with floral accents.
I explored this coffee through a lot of different brew methods—Orea, Flower dripper, AeroPress, and Tricolate. It performed well in all of them.
The Bottom Line
This Inmaculada Geisha exceeded even my high expectations of what is possible and expected from a Reserve coffee from Corvus. It was juicy, sweet, and oh so delicious—a true winner in my book.
