Fun Coffee Cocktails Worth Trying

Andrew Pautler

Experimenting with coffee to try new drinks is one of my favorite things to do. It is amazing how well coffee mixes with things. There are the more standard mix-ins like milk, but also some more adventurous ones like orange juice and lemonade that are actually quite delicious. Below is a list of recipes and infographics featuring some fun coffee cocktails I’ve discovered.

What are coffee cocktails?

While traditional cocktails always include alcohol, coffee cocktails don’t necessarily. Many of the coffee cocktails feature boozy options, but most can be made without any alcohol.

Should I use espresso or cold brew in my coffee cocktails?

The recipes below flip flop between cold brew concentrate or espresso. Either should work for most of the cocktails. The key is concentrated coffee though. You don’t want the coffee to water down the drink too much, so the super concentrated espresso or a strong cold brew concentrate work best.
