With a name like Fruit Snacks Blend, how can you go wrong? Marketing-aside, I’m always excited to try a new fruit-forward coffee, so I was intrigued to try Dapper & Wise’s single-origin blend of two Ethiopian coffees (70% naturally processed, 30% washed) as part of my Crema.co subscription.

Get Started

The coffee begins with a strong, sweet fruity fragrance of berries. In the flavor I tasted those same berry notes of strawberry, blueberry and raspberry. The coffee has a wonderful lemon citrus acidity that is strong and lingers through a long, sparkling finish. While bright and fruity, the body is still smooth and silky, which is my favorite combination. The coffee is well-balanced, clean and carries a strong fruity sweetness.

The Bottom Line

While this coffee plays to my personal preferences, I think it’s quality extends beyond my own bias. It is exciting and full of flavor. It has high marks in acidity, sweetness and body, which all combine with the delicious flavor to create a very delicious coffee.
