Recipe Steps

  1. Grind coffee, add to v60 and shake to level the grounds.
  2. Add 120g of ice below the brewer in a carafe (ideally one large ice cube that melts slowly).
  3. Add 60g of hot water to the grounds for the bloom and wait 30 seconds.
  4. At 45 seconds, slowly pour an additional 70g of water in a circular pattern around the grounds.
  5. At ~1:30 when the water is just above the grounds, add the final 70g of water in a circular pattern around the grounds.
  6. After drawdown, swirl coffee to melt ice and bring coffee to equilibrium.
  7. Serve with additional ice, if necessary.
