What’s inside

In every issue

The same four things each month, so you always know what you’re getting.

  1. The news, numbered

The handful of coffee stories that mattered this month, each boiled down to a few sentences, with a link to the source if you want the deep dive.

  2. Science, with the caveats

New research on coffee and health, flavor, and climate, explained plainly—including when a study can’t prove what the headlines claim.

  3. A featured recipe

A seasonal drink to make at home, from a pumpkin spice cold brew cocktail to a whiskey maple coffee cocktail.

  4. Gear, releases & deals

New brewers, limited coffee releases, and deals worth knowing about—plus an honest take on which ones aren’t.

Curated by Pull & Pour

“The stories I’d send a coffee-loving friend, gathered into one email a month.”

I’m Andrew, the person behind Pull & Pour. Between reviewing coffees and brewing at home, I read a lot about coffee: industry reports, competition results, new research, gear launches.

The Monthly Pour is the short version. I sort through it all and send you the parts worth reading, so you can keep up without keeping tabs on everything.

Questions, answered

When does it arrive?

The first Wednesday of every month. The next issue goes out Wednesday, November 4.

Is it free?

Yes, completely. Just your email address.

How many emails will I get?

The Monthly Pour comes once a month. You may get an occassional email about other exciting updates with Pull & Pour, but they will be minimal. I hate spam emails too.

Do issues include sponsored content?

Some issues include a sponsored feature or a roundup of deals. Those sections are always clearly labeled, and I only include things I think are worth your time.

Is this the same as the Coffee Club?

No. The Pull & Pour Coffee Club is a free weekly text featuring one hand-picked coffee to order. The Monthly Pour is a monthly email about what’s happening in coffee. Join one or both.

How do I unsubscribe?

Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you’re off the list.
