The 12 Days of Coffee Christmas Is Back for 2026

Andrew Pautler

12 Days of Coffee Christmas Set 2026

Last year, I launched one of the most ambitious coffee sets I’d ever put together: 12 coffees from 12 different roasters, all packed into one box for the holidays.

The idea was pretty simple. There are plenty of great coffee Advent calendars out there, but most showcase the perspective of a single roaster. I wanted to do something different—bring together coffees from roasters around the world and create a tasting experience with as much variety as possible.

The result was the first Pull & Pour 12 Days of Coffee Christmas set.

And this year, we’re doing it again.

The 2026 12 Days of Coffee Christmas brings together 12 different specialty coffee roasters, with one carefully selected coffee from each packed into its own 50g jar. That’s 600 grams of coffee and 12 completely different tasting experiences, built to be enjoyed throughout December.

The exact lineup is still coming together, but just like last year, the goal isn’t simply to find 12 good coffees. I want each spot in the box to earn its place.

Why 12 Different Roasters?

This is still my favorite part of the entire concept.

A great roaster has a point of view. You see it in the coffees they source, how they roast them, the producers they work with, and even the kinds of flavors they tend to chase.

Put 12 coffees from the same roaster side by side, and you can learn a lot about that roaster.

Put coffees from 12 different roasters side by side, and you get something completely different.

That was the idea behind last year’s box, which eventually included coffees from DAK, Savage, Onyx, Wonderstate, Torch, Corvus, Blendin, Hydrangea, Prodigal, Manhattan, NATIVE and Aviary. The coffees ranged from a Panama Geisha to a washed Ethiopian coffee, a natural coffee from China, a Kenyan AA, and some pretty wild experimental processes.

For 2026, I’m starting fresh.

Some familiar names may return. There will be new roasters in the mix. But more importantly, I’m looking for 12 coffees that make sense together.

The goal is contrast: different origins, varieties, processing methods, roast approaches, and flavor profiles. I want you to move from one day to the next and feel like you’re experiencing something genuinely different.

What’s Inside the 2026 Box?

Every 12 Days of Coffee Christmas set includes:

  • 12 different specialty coffees
  • 12 different roasters
  • 50g of each coffee
  • 600g of coffee total
  • A deliberately varied mix of origins, varieties, processes, and flavor profiles
  • Digital coffee details and brew guidance for the coffees in the set

I specifically like the 50g format because this isn’t meant to be a collection of one-and-done samples.

Depending on your recipe, 50 grams gives you two or three opportunities with each coffee. Brew it once to get acquainted with it, then make an adjustment and come back to it. Or brew one cup for yourself and save the rest to share with someone else.

You also don’t have to treat this like a traditional Advent calendar.

Start December 1 and open one every day. Stretch it across the entire month. Cup several coffees side by side. Save a few for Christmas week. There really isn’t a wrong way to work through it.

Meet the 12 Coffees

This section will be updated as the 2026 lineup is finalized.

I’ll be revealing the roasters and coffees as everything gets locked in. Check back here as we get closer to December for the complete lineup.

Alo Morke Natural

From BlendIn Coffee Club, Alo Morke Natural is a light-roasted Ethiopian coffee from Sidama, grown at 2,350 meters and featuring the 74158 variety. The natural process delivers a vibrant, fruit-forward cup with notes of blueberry, blood orange, and mangosteen, while maintaining the clarity and elegance you’d expect from a standout Ethiopian coffee. It also earned 97 points from Coffee Review and Silver in the 2026 Kenneth Davids Cup.

Origin: Sidama, Ethiopia
Process: Natural
Variety: 74158
Tasting Notes: Blueberry, blood orange, mangosteen

Cream Donut

Cream Donut is an experimental Caturra Chiroso from Finca El Encanto in Pitalito, Colombia, using a multi-stage fermentation with anaerobic, aerobic, and yeast-inoculated stages. The result is a sweet, dessert-like cup with notes of chocolate milk, cherry liqueur, and vanilla, balancing rich sweetness with the complexity DAK is known for.

Origin: Pitalito, Colombia
Process: Yeast-inoculated anaerobic natural
Variety: Caturra, Chiroso
Tasting Notes: Chocolate milk, cherry liqueur, vanilla

La Salvaje Gesha

From Fabio Caballero’s award-winning Finca La Salvaje comes a stunning expression of Gesha. Brilliant citrus, tea-like complexity, and a lingering herbal finish showcase why this Fabio has become one of the country’s most celebrated producers.

Origin: La Paz, Honduras
Process: Anaerobic washed
Variety: Gesha
Tasting Notes: Chocolate milk, cherry liqueur, vanilla

Built for Coffee People, but Also a Pretty Great Gift

If you’re deep into specialty coffee, this is basically an excuse to spend part of December exploring coffees from 12 different roasters without buying 12 full-size bags.

But I also think the set works particularly well as a gift.

You don’t need to know someone’s favorite origin, processing method, or roaster. The entire point is discovery. Every time they open another coffee, there’s something new to explore.

And because there are 12 coffees rather than 24 or 25, there’s a little less pressure to keep up. You can actually spend some time with each one.

When Will the 12 Days of Coffee Christmas Ship?

The sets are being offered as a pre-order because coordinating fresh coffee from 12 separate roasters and getting everything packed at the right time takes some planning.

The current plan is to ship boxes in late November, timed so that U.S. orders arrive around the beginning of December.

That means you can start working through the coffees December 1—or stash the box under the tree and save the whole experience for later in the month.

A New Holiday Coffee Tradition

Last year’s set started as an experiment.

Could I actually coordinate 12 coffees from 12 roasters, get them all here fresh, pack everything into individual jars, build brew guides for them, and somehow get hundreds of individual coffees where they needed to go before Christmas?

It was a lot.

But seeing people brew through the box, compare favorites, and share their experiences made the answer pretty obvious: we needed to do it again. The feedback was incredible!

So the 12 Days of Coffee Christmas is back for 2026—new box, new coffees, new roasters, and another chance to explore just how diverse specialty coffee can be.

I can’t wait to start revealing what’s inside.

Pre-Order the 2026 12 Days of Coffee Christmas

Quantities will be limited, and because the coffees are being sourced specifically for the set, once this year’s boxes are gone, they’re gone.

12 roasters. 12 coffees. 12 days of coffee discovery.
