Black Forest & Fog Coffee Cocktail

This coffee cocktail comes from Matt Foster, US Coffee in Good Spirits Champion from 2019 and Beverage Director at The Annex in Webster Groves, Missouri. Matt describes the cocktail as one for the “discerning and dressed down. As you drink you’ll find smoke and citrus on the nose and at the front, pine and malt in the middle, a rich nutty finish, and dark chocolate throughout. The flavors are clean and their balance will keep you coming back for the next sip until, sadly, it’s gone.” It features Mr. Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, which can be used to make a wide range of coffee-themed cocktails. They are running a Coffee Cocktail contest now and you can vote for this recipe on their site. Here is the direct link for the Black Forest & Fog cocktail from Matt and the Annex team.
