Recipe Steps

  1. Start with the AeroPress upside down and with the plunger pulled all the way out while still providing a seal.
  2. Unscrew the filter basket, and insert a filter. Rinse it with hot water. Set it aside.
  3. Pour your freshly ground coffee inside the AeroPress.
  4. At 0:00, start your timer and add 50g of water that’s just off boil to allow freshly roasted coffee to degas.
  5. At 0:45, add 125g of water and stir.
  6. At 1:30, add the remaining 100g of water and screw on the filter basket with the filter.
  7. At 2:30, carefully flip the AeroPress right side up and set it on top of your mug. Plunge with slow steady pressure over 45 seconds.
